Peninsular Acoustics is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants and has an experienced team of Acoustic Consultants meeting the BREEAM definition of a suitably qualified acoustic consultant.
BREEAM Acoustic assessments are required on a wide variety of new build and refurbished commercial premises for example, such as hospitals, schools, offices, hotels, mixed use developments etc.
BREEAM Acoustic Assessments are required for two categories;
HEA 05 – In this health and wellbeing section of BREEAM, credits can be achieved for the for the acoustic performance of key issues such as sound insulation, indoor noise levels and reverberation time.
POL 05 – In this pollution section of BREEAM, credits can be achieved for the demonstration for example that the installation of new noise sources such as external plant will not impact on the nearest noise sensitive dwellings. It is typically demonstrated by a BS4142:2014 plant noise assessment.
