Peninsular Acoustics provided acoustic expertise throughout the project from the planning stage to completion.
At the planning stage, Noise and vibration surveys were undertaken, due to the close proximity of the railway line to the hotel.
The hotel had a high standard of acoustic design, due to the Premier Inn operator brand standards, in addition to building control requirements. Sound Insulation, Internal noise levels, building services noise and reverberation in common areas were all considered. At completion the hotel was tested and was successfully compliant with the required acoustic standards.
