Peninsular Acoustics is an acoustic consultancy and member company of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC). We have significant experience over a wide range of projects and sectors. We are a Robust Details Inspectorate organisation, helping to maintain the highest standards in the new build residential market.
Our company founder, Iain Critchley, has been providing expert acoustic advice since the turn of the century. The company continues to provide expert acoustic consultancy, owned and managed by Jonathan Howell and James Healey.
We aim to provide an innovative, pragmatic, simple and effective acoustic consultancy service catered to the needs of our clients. We embrace a different approach to the norm, avoiding generic recommendations, and delivering solutions that meet the individual needs of each project. Communication is of equal importance to technical ability – solutions must work, they must be practical and sustainable, and they must be cost-effective, but they cannot be built if they are not understood.
The Peninsular Acoustics team brings with it decades of combined experience in sound, noise and vibration consultancy. We aim to set the standards in our industry, through leading or contributing to multiple national guidance documents and other approved practices.
